For the 2011 Sunshine Freestyle Facebook Video Skateboard Contest

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the 2011 Sunshine Freestyle Facebook Video Skateboarding Contest and related activities, contestant acknowledges, appreciates and agrees that:

1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death. And while particular rules, equipment and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and

2. YOU KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISKS both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES or others and assume full responsibility for your participation; and

3. You for yourself and behalf of your heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Sunshine Freestyle Sports, WITH REPSECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH or loss or damage to person or property. WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

YOU HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SUBMITTING YOUR VIDEO AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

FOR PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE (Under 18 at the time of submission)

Parent/guardian with legal responsibility for the participant, consents and agrees to his/her release as provided above of all the Releases, heirs, assigns and next of kin. Parent releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liabilities incident to your minor child’s involvement of participation in these programs as provided above. EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By submitting your video, competitor (or competitors parent) agrees to the waiver and release of  liability.
